California Shooting Sports was developed with the family in mind. CSS began the process of developing an indoor shooting facility late in 2009. After traveling all over the western United States and visiting over 100 indoor ranges, we are finally ready to break ground on our facility. The range will be state of the art, clean, and most of all safe. We have chosen the safest type of bullet trap, and have a state of the art air handling system that will ensure that the air you are breathing will be clean, and that the air that we exhaust will be clean and not harmful to the environment and our neighbors.
We have been able to develop a relationship with the Town and Country Shopping center, and we are grateful to be in such a great area. In addition to the range we have a large classroom, large clean bathrooms, and a comfortable area to watch shooters through windows. CSS will has a 1200 square foot retail area focusing on the necessities needed in the shooting sports like; firearms, holsters, belts, magazines, ammunition, cleaning supplies, etc. We provide a level of customer service unprecedented in the firearms industry.

CSS will have a 1200 square foot retail area focusing on the necessities needed in the shooting sports like; firearms, holsters, belts, magazines, ammunition, cleaning supplies, etc.
10 firing Lanes!
The retail store and range are open 10:00 am to 7:00 pm Tuesday Through Saturday
The range will consist of two bays of 5 lanes each. Each person will have their individual stall and shooting bench to suit their needs. We have purchased retriever systems that run on a track so that your target will not continue to swing after you have sent it down to your desired destination. We will have the ability to program the retrievers from a central position, which will aid us in teaching classes and other trainings. The range will be limited to rim-fire rifles, and all pistol calibers up to .44 Magnum. Each lane has a shooting distance of up to 15 yards. There are observation windows to watch the shooters from outside the range, and a place to clean up after you are done shooting. All ammo will be inspected for steel content. No steel core ammo is allowed on the range. If your ammo sticks to a magnet it will not be allowed on the range.
Eye and ear protection is required at all times when inside of the range (no exceptions). If you don’t have any we will provide you with some.
All guns must be unloaded and in cases until you are located at your shooting station.
All ammo is subject to inspection (no steel core/case, and no tracer rounds).
When you are done shooting if you do not wish to take your brass with you push it down range with the supplied squeegee. You can take your brass and only your brass with you when you leave if you would like.
Most of all Please observe the 4 rules of firearm safety.
Always keep your gun pointed in a safe direction.
Always treat all guns as if they are loaded.
Always keep your finger off of the trigger until your sights are on the target and you have made a conscious decision to shoot.
Be sure of your backstop.
